Design, connected.
Built around connection.
We don't organize design shows. We design them.
DesignConn is a traveling event for the professional design community. Instead of simply filling a room with booths, we curate the entire experience—from the spaces we inhabit and materials and brands we invite to the artists, makers, craftspeople, conversations and hospitality that surround them.
DesignConn brings together architects, interior, landscape and hospitality designers, material suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators, installers, artisans, craftspeople, makers, artists and adjacent trades through curated exhibitions, live demonstrations, talks and programming.

Born in Connecticut.
Built on connection.
DesignConn began as a gathering of Connecticut's design community. But connection was embedded in the name from the beginning. Today, DesignConn travels from city to city—connecting architects, designers, suppliers, manufacturers, artists, makers, craftspeople, materials, ideas and one another.
Every city changes the show.
Each edition is shaped by the place that hosts it. We scout local artists, craftspeople, installers, fabricators, workrooms, makers and speakers—and invite them to bring their work, knowledge and craft into the room.
Selected local participants may join DesignConn through demonstrations and programming rather than traditional paid exhibit booths, creating direct connections between design professionals and the skilled people who help bring projects to life.
Less waste.
More possibility.
The design & event industry create an enormous amount of material waste—including samples that sit unused for years before eventually being discarded. DesignConn wants to become part of the solution.
We are developing practical programs to collect obsolete design materials, including fabric samples, and work with partners who can upcycle them into something useful rather than simply sending them to landfill.
Upcycle, don't downcycleNext.
